For any manufacturer, delays in shipping are not unusual. Most often, a quick shift of schedules, priorities and products allows Encore LED to meet customer expectations and installation deadlines. What happens when the delay isn’t minor?
Recently, we were stunned to learn that our shipment was not arriving at our New Jersey warehouse that day. For Encore LED, the impact was significant: 800 45-watt 4’ Linear LED fixtures in that container were scheduled to be installed the very next day in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. What do you tell your customer and their scheduled crew of 20 electricians?
